Very happy with 4th today unlike yesterday :).

At the start I just tried to hang with the porsche of Barry H and the rest. After a couple of laps though they were starting to pull away, but seeing as I was running with a full tank I didn't mind much.

Janko and Scott then closed up so I let them by, didn't see much point in racing them really so I let them by and watched them battle it out for a few laps.

1st pitstop came up and I made a bit of an error. Started with 100L of fuel and I figured I would need another 50L to get me to the end. So I set all that up in the setup sheet before the race. Had something like 25L left in the tank when I made my stop, pulled up cut the engine and the guys got to work. Any way of course as soon as the car had 50L in it's tank they stopped refueling didn't they, bugger. So I set off again a good few litres short of what I needed.

Was short shifting and tacking corners in a gear higher desperatly trying to save fuel. I was getting just under what GTRXD was telling me I needed to do a lap to make the finish but it was tight.

3 laps to go and I had over a minute over Aaron who was behind. So with 2 litres left in the car and maybe a couple of laps left I made a splash and dash just to be safe, the next lap the race ended lol. Still I didn't want to risk it and I had the time to make the stop so it was the best thing to do.

So yeah, not a very eventfull race action wise but was still fun and I learn't a few things about GTR2 which has to be good.
