Thanks to everyone for the post-race gratz and again, my thanks go to Kevin for putting on the series for us. It was a treat.
I spent the day today getting up late, eating out and then playing board games all day until 6, coming up with just enough time to jump into practice before qualifying. I really wanted to take this series, so I had done about 3 decent practice sessions this week and thought for sure I was going to be struggling to handle the podium pace because of the Porsche's typical fast track struggle. Well, it turned out my paranoia had only paid off and my pace was fast enough take pole easily and wrap up the race fairly tidily for the series, save one big mistakes around lap 9 when I lost it in T3 and ended up losing P1 to David for the rest of the lap, but he pitted in and I stayed out for an extra lap and took the lead back after my own stop.
So, my first championship. Feels good. Thanks all.
