Race report
Return to Mt.Fuji Autosalvage Vintage GT: Fuji on Mar 15, 2010
Car: Mini Cooper. Class: P&G. Start: 7. Finish: 6. Laps: 35.

A rather dissapointing finish for me. I was full throttle most of the lap in the Mini. I was quicker in the turns, but hopelessly slow down the straights. Like Eduardo said in practice, a bit of a handicap is an understatement. Still, he, like I should have, managed a good finish. I simply over drove the car in anger and let Godzilla bite me twice on the banking. I also melted the tires to the point where the left rear reached 268 degrees F.

At one point, I remember bump drafting Les down the front straight. Being tucked up under his bumper really allowed the Mini to scream.

It seemed like I had connection issues Sunday night. I usually have a very solid connection. I was getting blue flag warnings with Eduardo behind me. I think he got caught out at least once by my ghosting car. Sorry to anyone else who may have driven through (or hit) my ghost.

Congrats to Daniel, Stan, Les and Eduardo for fine finishes. Also to those who finished period deserve some kudos here.
