I decided to try the Viper for this race, even though race length meant I could barely manage it with two stops. In the start I pulled away nicely, in fact for a lap or two I had to be careful not to hit Barry under braking. After stop 1 I was back into lapping on my own as I needed to gain a lot of time to make up for my extra stop for a full tank.
After stop 2 Claus and Pete were ahead of me, Pete by 30 secs and Claus a little more. I might have caught Pete but his engine let go before the end. Claus, however, was way too much ahead for me.
