I really jumped into this race with no practice other than 2 laps before so I just relied on the default setup to get me through which was a big mistake.
Quali I only did 1 run with 2 laps, did a decent enough lap and did not feel the need to do anymore so sat for 10 minutes trying to work out race fuel and pitstops. That was a big mistake too. I ended up taking about 70 litres too much for my first stint as I had totally miscalculated my strategy. So once the tyres wore off I still effectively had most a tank left and the car was undriveable, I dropped from 3rd to 6th I think. Once I pitted and had readjusted to the right strategy I had decent pace hampered by incorrect tyre pressures and a setup that really did not want to turn in aggresively.
Eduardo managed to just sneak an extra lap in at the end before the timer so the last lap was a nice cruise and short shifting to be sure. On my second stop the pitcrew decided to make me wait an extra 30 seconds before doing anything so I was quite lucky to finish 2nd in the end, especially with Dennis's disco?
Lesson learnt though.

Terrible Quali, I span twice in the same corner and in the end could only manage 9th with a very very average lap. Race start, got a decent one and knew Mark was inside so gave plenty of room and I got a better exit so was ahead come the hairpin. Bit of chaos at the hairpin and I had a quick decision to make, right past the Viper at a tight steering angle or left and risk hitting some other cars in the mess, I choose left and got through just right. From then I just worked on building a nice gap and when my position was safe I choose to conserve as I had little chance against the Vipers anyway.
Grabbed a place at the end due to Tristan chugging empty, unlucky. I had 0.4 ltr left when I crossed the line and only decided to take an extra ltr just before joining the grid. Overall pretty pleasing result securing the title for Phoenix and my first race back after a nice layoff.

Tough race, mainly because my race setup was so bad it felt so understeery, too much wing and to top it off took 8 laps too much fuel. Decent racing though, managed to half spin in T1 towards the end trying to fend off Allen.

Quali wasn't great, was hoping to hit the 57's on a low fuel run but couldnt manage it, had good sector times but was losing out in the last sector on every lap.
Race I got a decent start and managed to just outdrag David into Turn 1, then just sat behind Joco in 3rd for a few laps expecting the front 2 to start edging away but I managed to stick with them and managed to capitilise on Joco getting slightly balked by a backmarker, we were then both pretty lucky a few laps later to miss a car reversing onto the track in the last sector. I was behind Marko in the Viper and was sticking with him in the infield but then he was opening a gap on the straights. In the end he made a small mistake in the last corner and took to the grass which allowed me to just edge side by side into T1, nearly lost it on the exit but managed to hold it, then we got onto the back straight and I postioned myself on the left to protect for the chicane but it turns out Marko hit my rear panel and went off. I have checked the replay and I did only follow one line, I did not move across in a sharp manner and to me it was a perfectly legal racing move against a much faster car, just because you have a superior straight line speed does not mean I have to give you the oppurtunity to use it, you had the option to back off, dart right or hit the grass.
I am really pleased with the result though, was really tough to keep up the pace and at the end the tyre warning came through, the front left was wrecked! Some good racing with both Marko and Joco.

I have no idea how I managed to do what I did tonight. Came onto the server after 5 minutes practice earlier doing 22's with low fuel and was expecting to be about a second off everyone. Onto the server and everyone is 2 seconds quicker than me and I am doing 23's.
Quali starts and I get a decent lap in, then from nowhere I bang in a 19.7, and still dont know how I went from 22's to 19's.
Race was tough, Brian behind me for the best part and I was holding him up really, race setup just killed the tyres after 15 laps or so, he had way more grip out of the hairpin so got past, Claudio then caught me by which point I knew my fuel was gonna be tight so I was short shifting and had no real defence in the end. Coming around the last corner 0.34 ltr's COME ON!!! ran out just after the last corner and was dropping like a stone, Pete came up behind and clouted my rear across the finish, I thank you Sir Pete.

Q. Not good, held up on my first 2 attempts and then messed the final sector on my last attempt.
R. Decent start, looking to stick with Pete but made a small error in T3 which allowed the front 3 to just get out of reach. By this point the front tyres were overheated and it was a case of dueling with Pablo for the next 14 laps, we swapped positions a few times, touched a few times and constantly were nailed to each others tail's it was great racing. My setup ultimately come the race was flawed so I am happy with a hard earnt 4th, couldn't shake Pablo even in Quali with the exact same time!
Two races with rFactor now and both races have had great battles, im getting into it abit.

Off the pace at this track by a fair bit, never have been fast around Brands. Quali was average, I think the Top 7-8 broke the lap record so it was a high level.
Race I got away normal, somebody span at T1 in front of me so I dived past them, then got a good run out of Druids and managed to take another heading onto the back straight, couple of cars went wide and again I dived past and somehow was 3rd until Allen came blasting by on the home straight. Was 4th until Allen then spun and I inherited 3rd, from there I was just managing the times and really struggling in the 32's so Craig crusied upto the back of me towards the end, just managed to hold him off. Overall I think my setup was pretty much useless come the race so to get a podium is good. Grats to Patrick and Muo, crazy pace you had at the front.

I can only echo Xavier's thought's, good racing tonight. Came onto the server about 15 mins before and was expecting to be kicked as I have been having issues with GTR2 recently, not even raced with it for a month or 2. Quali was terrible for me and I lost about 8 tenths in the middle sector on my fast lap but then couldn't get a clean one in time.
The start I did not even see the green lights, been playing too much Evo and was expecting the lights to pop up but they did not, somehow everyone had a bad start and I managed to slot into 3rd. After that it was a case of me and Xavier searching for a way past Nickolay which we both did in the end on the final corner I think.
After that Xavier cruised up to the back of me so I figured I would slow the pace and go defensive, it was working quite effectively but in the end he got a decent run out of T3 and just nudged my rear panel which jumped me onto the curbs and allowed him to sneak by, but its fair, its racing, it was cracking, nice one Xavier.

Pole but should be Jans really, held up on my 2 first laps as well but no biggie.
Race got a poor start and Pete had the inside line for Turn 1 and eventually got around the outside around Turn 3. Settled in for a nice battle and the made a rookie error on the fast sweepers, clipped the inside curb and gravel trapped it. Got back on track as safe as I could and was 7th or 8th I think, from there just started working my way forward until I got to 4th and got stuck behind Zoran for the best part of the race, I was quicker but the warpy server made it almost impossible to pass without punting, in the end I just pounced on a small mistake he made, closed my eyes and somehow got through. Fair play Zoran because we could have easily wrecked with the warpy server.
Once I was released I was in the 35's quite easily and started catching Tim but by then it was too late and I had to settle for 3rd, race saved I guess after my 1st lap error. Great cars to drive too, the server made it hard for everybody so inretrospect a good race.

First time out on rFactor here so was hoping for a decent result but did not expect to be up the sharp end. 2nd in quali, just!
Got an ok start and settled in behind Nikola where we exchanged some fast laps until both our tyres started going and we fell back into the pack abit, eventually got passed him.
From then I had Mark more or less taped to my bumper for the next 18 laps, I was just trying to position my car in the right places, especially in the 3rd turn where he seemed to have extra grip and he managed to come alongside a few times, I did not get on the server quick enough before hand to test the fuel levels and in the end I think I carried about 8 laps too much just held on in the end, was a great battle.
3am start time killed me, but I was determined to race this event after practising the day before and I couldn't get on the Euro server so got to race with USA boys, great racing but you won't see me again anytime soon, I am shattered!
Grats Mark and Nikola for some nice clean racing.
