A could have been good race. Starting 2nd, at the start me, Phillie and Al got away from the pack abit. Was going pretty well for the first few laps and then it started going loose, really loose. I nearly lost it once through T4 but then T1 exit the rear just snapped away and I was in the wall with both wings missing. I think thats down to not testing my setup for long enough stints.
From there I was just plodding around with a lower top speed but adding some wing in the stop helped stability atleast, well until I spun again coming out of T4 on that bump thats there one lap and not the next. But still had fun, some nice stuff in the middle there with Andrew, im not overly downbeat about it.
Well done on the win to Phillie, nice podiums to Phil and Michael.

Quali. Had a stella lap on the first attempt and then just pushed that bit too much around the Parabolica and got sucked in the gravel, stayed with it and went for another attempt, quite abit slower than the first one but good enough for pole which was lucky, i ran out of fuel on my in-lap and was stuck with that time.
Race. What can I say, made a mistake. Al got the better run upto T1 and lead into T2, we were side by side and I braked but sure enough they locked and I was helpless as I just knocked into Al, so sorry mate. Did my Drive thru and came out about 14th, started picking guys off and eventually worked my way upto 2nd again, about 10 seconds behind Phillie and not long off the first stops. Had a longer stop to repair damage and came out about 8 seconds behind, but the new tyres were excellent and I really started going for it, eventually caught up and passed out of the slipstream into Ascari, nice racing Phillie. Grats to everyone that finished.

Well on the face of it not bad. Never driven the cars before, then couldnt get on the server, was about to give up when Alan posted the file I would need in the pre-race. So 5 laps practice on Alan's setup, thanks.
Quali I did my PB so far, Race I was slowly getting my times down but trying not to throw the car away for the majority of the time, when your racing to try and keep the car in check it makes trying to go faster almost impossible.
I guess moral of the story dont jump into servers with no practice but on the other hand the racing from what I saw of it was good and with abit more practice I think I could tame it, so Donny it is.

First online oval experience and it was enjoyable, it takes a different kind of concentration to hit every apex lap after lap and not lift your foot at all.
Quali I more or less just did what I could, I think that was about the max.
Race I got a good start on the second attempt and was up behind the team boss, I know Andy digs these events so I knew he would be both fair and tough, luckily I managed to just nip past out of his tow and broke just that little bit free to prevent him from then taking my tow. After that I was just about catching the front pair, 1 pitted quite early on and after that the gap was kinda yo-yoing abit between 1-2 seconds. Al pitted first and I stretched my fuel for abother 4-5 laps, first stint was on Hard's, I switched to mediums for the second stint and took about 15 laps too much fuel but after last time I wanted to be safe.
I came out about 12 seconds ahead (not sure if Al had issues) and maintained the gap to around that, then Al started dipping the times and i couldnt respond but the gap was big enough in the end. Pretty happy to win and its certainly opened my eyes to a new type of racing, backmarkers were exceptional too.

Gutted for Tristan, he blew us away really.
Good race really for me, I could have nabbed 2nd but kinda wimped out in the end on the fuel level, I think i would have made it but ah well, atleast my good mate Phillie got 2nd instead.
Gutted for Phil P too because he was class and I think just got unlucky in the final turn mid race.

Good race, was enjoyable.
Quali I got a decent lap in towards the end of the session which got me the pole. Race I got a decent start and braked well early into Turn 1 which allowed someone past, they then made a small mistake later in the lap and I took class lead back, from then just tried to build a gap, wasnt sure if a pitstop was needed or not so pushed quite hard and got a nice gap, about half distance I got the tyre warning so just pitted for safety and changed the fronts. After that Kenny was ahead but had not pitted so he let me go once I caught back up, fair play. From then I was getting tyres warnings for the rear's so just backed it down and gapped myself to Kenny.
Congrats to other podium finishers and Tim for Cupra class win.

First race back after Uni is taken care of for a few months, just dived straight in the default setup. Got a nice lap in for quali.
The race start was decent, well what with the faster Cupra cars taking up position ahead. I had a nice lead in class heading to the 'hairpin' and then got abit distracted by a Cupra around the outside and got a tankslapper on, span, nudged the wall and got the broken suspension radio call. Thought it was over then but the car felt almost normal, little bit pully to the right. I hooked up with Claudiu who also had a 1st lap off and we graudally caught the rest back up, I managed to get by after he made a slight error out of the sweeper, then at the end of the lap Chris had a moment through the chicane, i had room right and was commited, he closed the door, inevitable contact.
From then I pitted to put a splash of fuel in to be sure and to change tyres, got to the pits and it let me go again after about 2 seconds. Had to nurse the car from then, the tyres were wrecked and fuel was close. Nice to win though, well done to Tim too.

Tough race, mentally more than anything. I was tired before I even started quali, and a ctd in practice didnt help as I lost all my setup info.
Quali was ok, got a good banker lap in then was looking to go faster on 2nd lap which I managed up until the Karussell, so happy with 2nd.
Race I got a good start and managed to just nip past Darren at the first corner, he stuck with me till about mid lap when I had a slight trip to the grass, from then on he was gone. I tried my best to stick with his pace but my lack of knowledge in the middle sector essentially killed me, I was losing bags of time there, but a rush setup and knowing half a circuit I am pretty happy. Also the pits worked well, I lost alot of time in the last one trying to mess about with tyres and fuel load, ended up putting a full tank in and changing tyres again when I only wanted 2 laps of fuel and no change.
But well done Darren, great pace and all other guys that got to the end, was tough.

Pretty fun race, quali was pretty clear so could get a few decent laps in but way off the pace, but first time in these cars so not overly fussed.
Race start I got bogged down in 2nd again, I keep shifting up from 1sst too early so that allowed Pete to run away and Allen to slip through. I was very close to him through all the first lap and when we was approaching dingle dell I had a great run and went into there side by side, but I wasnt left much room so had to really take to the curb and unfortunatly we touched. I don't know if that incident is the one under investigation but I feel I had every right to be where I was, its not as if I lunged in, there just wasnt enough room.
Other than that, Pete was in a class of his own and I gave up trying to even chase him by half distance. Well done mate.
