Same here Darien, brakes failure. I've heard it's a bug in this mod. I still had plenty of brakes available when suddenly they just went to 0. I've used the same brake setting in previous 2 races and they were fine for the whole race. I guess it's just a lottery and I'm not sure if I want to play it any more.

Just thrilled with my first F1 win, especially after a silly mistake in first lap when I spun braking for turn 4. Just downshifting a bit to eagerly and my back decided to go his own way. I rejoined outside top 10 but luckily my car was not damaged and I was able to pick my way through the traffic and soon I was chasing Mark who was about 13 seconds in front of me in 3rd place. David was more than 20 seconds ahead in 2nd and Kimi was in his own world, laping more than 1 second faster then any of us.
In my first stint I was not happy with my car. I just couldn't do the pace I was able to do in my testing session. Still I was slowly decreasing the gap to Mark, but the gap to David remained the same.
Decided to pit after 20 laps with my front left tire completely gone, I was back in 4th and still chasing Mark who was having a bit of troubles with traffic so I managed to get a good draft down the long straight and did a clean pass under braking. Car became lighter and I was beginning to get into the rhythm that I didn't find in the first stint. I managed to get a 10+ second gap on Mark after his brief spin that I clearly saw in my rear mirrors and David was still more that 10 seconds ahead and lapping quite fast so I began to feel satisfied with my 3rd place.
After my second pit stop on lap 41 I knew I had a fast car and was beginning to catch David. Car felt better and better and I was finally able to drive on the limit and just as I was catching David I suddenly saw a very fast car behind me. I got blue flags that reminded me about Kimi who was about to lap me. Man was he flying.... great pace Kimi! I decided to give him room down the long straight and he went on to pass David as well but a few corners later I just saw a cloud of smoke and it was Kimi's engine giving up on him. I felt bad for him, because it was about 10 laps to go and he really deserved this win.
In the final 10 laps of the race I was clearly having fresher tires from David and was able to close on him but I knew overtaking won't be easy. Then going into the turn 1 David went very wide and I just sneaked pass him into the turn 2. I put the hammer down and did a 1,5 seconds gap so he was out of my slipstream on the long straight. I was sweating like hell with 3 laps to go and some traffic ahead of me. David came close again but my fresher tires were unbeatable when clear of the traffic so going into the final lap I was able to cool it down a bit and bring it home safely.
Congrats to Kimi for his superior lap times and fantastic lap record in qualifying. Congrats to David as well, if it wasn't for that one small mistake, you could have won it. And to Mark for a good clean fight, always a pleasure to race with you. Also congrats to all the survivors, great racing from all!
See you all in Bahrain!

What a fantastic race this turned out to be. It looked like it was going to be easy securing the second place with about half a minute gap from 3rd place driver after my first pit stop but then I just went to wide on the outside curb in the last corner and I became a passenger hoping not to hit the fence. Well I did hit it but it wasn't a bad hit so I had "only" yellow damage on my left side and on the rear wing. I knew I couldn't pit for repairs because that would mean I would have to pit again with front left tyre dying after about 26 laps so I had to stay out for another 4 laps and that was really hard. My car was over steering like crazy when going into the right corners, especially when braking into the corner and I had a few more scary moments while trying to do those 4 laps. Mark managed to close the gap on me and I gave him room so he could pass me because I just wasn't sure if I will be able to control my car while having him on my tail and didn't want to risk an accident. So he went by and took 2nd place just before I went into the pits. Repairs took about 20 seconds and I was back on the racing track. Luckily my guys did a good job with repairs and car felt normal again so I just started to push like mad, driving about 22 laps on the complete limit. I was catching Mark lap after lap and as he did his second pit stop I managed to close the gap on 10 seconds. I knew it was going to be close so I pushed like mad but Mark just didn't make a mistake and going into the last lap I was less then 2 seconds behind him and then going into the last corner of the race I managed to get a bit of a slipstream but was still to far away to make a late dive. I just needed 1 more lap so I could make an attack but the race was over so I have to congratulate Mark for some great racing and a well deserved 2nd place. Also congrats to Kimi for a fantastic pace and a great win despite loosing his brakes in the end.
I'm completely exhausted...
