Just a careful race from me. I knew I had to finish in front of Kent to secure my championship title so that was my main goal today. Qualified just ahead of Kent but as usual he had a great start and managed to pass me but then went a bit to deep in T1 colliding with race leader so I managed to gain my position back. I had a nice car that struggled a bit at the beginning with a full tank of fuel but was getting better every lap. Tristan went to pits very early so I was leading the race and managed to get some gap as well. Pitted only for fuel and kept the lead but Tristan soon caught up with me. Decided not to fight with him and risk a mistake so I'm very happy with a second place and to win the championship before the last race. Can't wait for Spa, it should be a joy to drive without any preasure.

Congrats to Tristan for a win, Kent for a podium and all who managed to finish the race.

Great setup and great fun driving this beast. Luckily the race was short as my soft front tyres were starting to struggle big time. So no short shifting from me Heinz :D, just tyre "problems", but I guess I could squeeze some extra life from them if it would be necessary.

Pressed brake instead of a clutch at the start (don't ask why :D) and by the time I realized what's going on I was already eaten alive and thrown into the sand... couldn't get out of the sand and was dead last after first lap 14 seconds behind anyone. Decided to continue to race but I was just unlucky to be hit by every single car that was going into the spin and was thrown into my car + I managed to spin Rob (sorry for that). What a wasted opportunity after having such a great car.

Congrats to Kent, Scott and George + all the survivors.

I have mixed feelings about this race. It was an enjoyable fight for third place but I just didn't feel comfortable in Vertigo to be able to compete at my best level. Haven't driven this car for ages and although I like the car I just didn't have the setup and the skills to be more competitive. I was surprised to see this race scheduled so I signed up very late and had no time to practice. It was a bit frustrating how unstable my car felt mid corner and when accelerating out of it (what was your wing setting guys?) so having a very stable car under braking was just not enough to beat Tom in our fight for the final podium position. He was struggling when braking for the chicane so there was my only chance to pass him. Almost made it but Tom held his composure and passed me back on the exit of the corner. Approaching the end of the race Tom began to struggle a bit in the Corkscrew as well so twice we ran side by side for a couple of corners but he managed to keep his position. Great racing Tom!

Congrats to Kent and Steve, you were to fast for both of us.

Perfect race for me and a very exciting one as well. My start was nothing special but still managed to get 2 positions and was in 2nd coming out of the T1. Steve behind me was faster in the first laps especially under braking and he made a pass on me so there I was in 3rd but soon got my position back after a mistake from Steve that was clearly having a bit to nervous car in the tight sections. I couldn't make any gap on Steve and Kent so we stayed together for almost half of the race before Kent finally commit a pass on Steve for the second and made himself visible in my rear mirror. He followed me closely and we pitted on the same lap. I only took fuel because that was my only option to stay ahead of Kent but to my surprise Kent took tyres as well so he gave me about 16 seconds of lead. I knew he was going to be much faster on fresh tyres but passing here is very difficult even with much faster car. With that in mind I just concentrated on my driving and had a bit of luck with clear road ahead as well so my laptimes were not to bad even with my tyres slowly losing grip. Kent was gaining on me but not as much as I expected and going into the last lap I knew I had this one covered but it sure was very exciting and fun to watch Kent's car getting closer and closer in my rear view mirror.

Fun race, cant wait for Valencia!

Not feeling comfortable in RS but still it was enough for a 4th position on the starting grid. My start was surprisingly good with a tall 1st gear that I was using in T3 + in that silly chicane. Managed to get a good run behind Steve and braked early not to get to close to him. He went sideways and got stucked on the curb a bit so I managed to hit his rear bumper but we both survived without spinning. It was not a big hit but as Steve said enough to start the accordion further back. I had a bit of damage after that and my top speed and especially the balance through the last long right corner was giving me hard times to close on Steve so he managed to pull from me gradually. Pitted after 30 minutes but my crew were not ready despite calling me to pit so I had to wait for about 8 seconds before they started to refuel me and changed my tyres. They also repaired the damage so the car felt better after my pitstop and after (to my big surprise) taking 3rd in the pits I managed to stay in front of Steve for the rest of the race. For the last 2 laps I had to slow down a bit because of traffic and some interesting battles that were going on in front of me so Steve managed to get closer as I would have wished and another lap would be very interesting for both of us but it didn't came to that as the race was finished and I managed to get myself a podium position and extend my lead in the championship.

Sorry to hear about your problems Kent.... it was going to be a great battle looking at our qualifying time.

I have to say thanks to all the drivers who I managed to lap... some really nice driving from you guys.
