I think I've fallen in love with this "candies" :D and to be able to win the championship makes them even more loveable.
My qual was as expected, maybe I was aiming for my personal best time but for some reason I just wasn't able to do it. Barry did great as well and almost took pole from me while Tommy was still warming up and was as usual very strong later in the race.
Made a good start and with Barry close on my tail I entered T1 and was immediately able to pull away. Then Tommy took 2nd but I was able to hold the gap and even increase it a bit until I came upon the traffic where I lost some time. I still had about 3 seconds of lead but with my front left tyre going away I was expecting a close finish. Then suddenly I saw Barry in 2nd place and realized Tommy must have made a mistake. I had enough gap on Barry to be able to slow it down a bit for the last few laps.
Congrats to all who made it to the finish and especially to my team mate Barry for supplying me with great setups for the whole season and to Tommy for being a tough but fair competitor.
I'll sure miss these fun cars!

Looks like I'm back in the game after oversleeping the last race and with Tommy missing this one I think I have enough to bring the title home. Thanks to Barry I had a great setup and although I was practising at the wrong track I was still able to do some fast times and even managed to set a new record for this track.... I did it in the race which shows that I was still learning the track in qualifying. My only concern was the start due to my tall 1st gear but Barry did a good job and qualified 2nd on the grid with the same setup so I knew we'll have similar "poor" starts.
See you all at Toban, hopefully with a bigger attendance.

Decent race for me but I had no weapon against Scott who's acceleration out of the corners was just better than mine. I was a bit quicker under braking, especially at the slow chicane but that was not enough to put serious pressure on him so it was just a matter of time when Scott will retake his lead after losing it in the pits. I decided to lift it big time in the last lap after some very nice battle in front of me for 7th place that I didn't want to ruin with my lapping. Other than that it was a nice race with good behaviour from all drivers.

Intense race with Tommy as usual. I knew I had a fast car but I tend to overdrive the tyres with my setup and that was the case in this race as well. Tommy was faster in second half of the race and I wouldn't have an answer if it wasn't for the track which really doesn't allow a normal overtaking. It was close a couple of times with Tommy slipstreaming behind me but I somehow managed to stay ahead with Tommy being really fair and not attempting to commit impossible overtakings.
I hope for another great race at Russian-Ring, a new track for me.

You did fine Josh, keeping your line and staying predictable.... it's just not an easy track to pass so I took some more time to pass you because I didn't want to risk a collision in the final 2 laps. Maybe a flash of light on the straight to signalize you are aware of me and that I can make a pass would have been helpful but still you did all that is required.
I did a lot of testing for this race, especially because this track was new to me. At first I hated it but then found the correct lines and started to like it so I was well prepared for this race.
I had a fast car and it showed in qualifying, setting my PB and taking pole ahead of Tommy. Start was smooth and I was able to keep my lead. First 2 laps were a bit cautious on cold tyres and Tommy was able to stay really close but after I got some heat in the tyres I was able to build a small gap of 3 seconds, just enough to make some very careful overtakings in the final lap.
See you all at Laguna Seca!
