The less said about my race the better. After running well offline I was having some real issues. I was nowhere near my PB in qually .... I was lucky to finally get a half decent lap in at the end.

The opening lap was thankfully uneventful. I haven't had enough practice in these cars in traffic and was slightly on edge. Nonetheless I got through the opening lap ... and promptly span in on lap 2. I ended up bang in the middle of the track and lost my rear wing when (totally unavoidable) contact occurred.

Driving with no rear wing was never going to happen, it felt alright at slow speed, but as soon as I hit a high speed corner the back end broke loose and spat me off track.

By the time I'd limped back to the pits and had the necessaray repairs I was a lap down on the leaders.

The rest of the race was unspectacular, more frustrating spins, and poor laptimes compared to practice. The temptation to quit in disgust was strong, but I soldiered on.

Apologies to whoever hit me on lap 2, hope you didn't get too much damage and were able to race.
