Race report
Oschersleben Club on Jan 28, 2010
Car: Vertigo Streiff. Class: GT Club. Start: 8. Finish: 12. Laps: 19.

This one was rough. I spent most of the week after Brno setting up motec in my pc. I was using it to extract time from the car,and i improved 1:35's to 1:32's (although these times did not come in the race, as circumstances arose). I only did full race fuel runs, so i was susprised at what the car could do in quali, i was able to push it past 100%. I got a traffic incident at the chicane, and i was forced to pit and fix damages. That only left me with one hot lap, which was ok, but easily improve-able.
In the race, i had a bad start, again. I didn't feel bad, as i was able to pass some, then people just decided to pass me by bumping me repeatedly. i was doing fine, no complaints, i was catching up to all my lost places, i passed a couple, i was just doing fine. Then i had contact again, but no biggie. Then, on lap 19... out of gas... i miscalculated the fuel consumption after reconfiguring the gear box, which was revving the engine higher. All in all, i had fun, but i would love to hang on to 7th place

Congratulationto winner and podium finishers
