A good 2nd place after a difficult 1st stint , had some brake balance issues at early laps and while trying different BB settings , went too much rear and managed to lost the car on my own at T1. Didn't help that i had a bit too little brake cooling but when i finally found the right balance , it was pretty ok after that.
Dropped way behind but managed to climb back and secured the 2nd place early in the 2nd stint but Mattias did a solid drive at the G3 lead and pulled away slowly but surely and even without my spin , i don't think my pace would have been good enough this time.
Well deserved win for Mattias after a smooth drive from start to finish , cheers mate :). Well done Reinhard for the win and a fine 2nd for Fernando with Seat..very nice. Well done other finishers also and cya on track.
Cheers...

Great stuff all the way , little bit of contact in the 1st turn and i dropped back a few places but the car was just awesome this time and the balance was perfect for steady long runs. Early on it was looking like Luke had the upper hand and he pulled about 4-5 secs lead but looks like the tyre degradation hit him much worse than me and i could reel him in before the pitstops started.
Had an easy pass when Luke had to fight with his tyres and after the stops were done , had about 5 seconds lead but kept on pushing hard and the car responded nicely , specially now when i had a bit less fuel onboard.
Very satisfying race specially for the setup wise , tyre wear was almost identical on every corner and even when the tyres started to slide , the balance was still there and it was very easy to drive the car through the stint...wish i had a car like that little more often :).
Good race with Luke , even if we didn't spent much time in close proximity , the chase was exciting both ways.
Congratulations to Luke and John for the nGT podiums as well as Reinhard for another win...cheers to Cristi for the 2nd in GT , nice to see you again mate... solid run for Fernando to secure the 3rd on GT..nice run again with that Viper.
Thanks all for the race and cya... :)

Tough luck for Kevin , he was flying with his GTC.
My race couldn't have been more boring i have to say , just couldn't find a comfortable setup for my car and the whole race was quite a struggle , on top of that i thought my fuel doesn't last to the end and saved some at the middle part of the race... then had 3.5L at the end..doh :P
Ah well...Solid 3rd place before Kevin got a disco , then moved to 2nd and finished on the same place. Joco was running well with the Modena and disappeared quite fast , so a lonely race this time for me.
Well done Joco for the win and grats to spragi for the podium also. Thanks for the race and cya on track.
Cheers...

Exiting race but a bit too wild for my taste , had my chances but something always came up dropping me back and had to start over. Car was excellent and i was really surprised to keep up with Joco ,had one real chance soon after his accident but he kept his elbow out and couldn't finish the move. Gotta admit that the quick chat what followed really distracted me and lost the rhythm there , please don't do that again...thx :).
Got close at the end but a bit sloppy driving at the last laps prevented me to get close enough to try anything. A good 2nd place anyways and an exciting chase through the race after not so perfect start :). Congrats to Joco and Mattias for the podiums , thanks all for the race and cya on the next one...

Q: Surprised about the pole but the hot weather prolly help me , was running with medium - hard combination and some fuel to try how the car runs in race trim.
R: Good start and kept the position but few laps later Mattias got a good run and overtook me easy on Kemmel straight , didn't bother to defend because it was so early on the straight and didn't have the speed. Tried to keep it close but Mattias was driving well and few times it was looking that he was running away.
Managed to keep it reasonably close through the first stint and went in for my service a lap earlier than planned , that worked well at first and with the extra fuel i had on the car , my stop was fast and had a nice lead when the pitstops had cycled through.
All good so far and pushed hard for the next 4-5 laps before backing off and going in the cruising mode. This eventually led to the situation that my rear tyres did all the work and car balance was totally gone for the last 4 laps , really surprised me and would have been helpless to defend if it would have gone to that... sometimes it's better to just push to the end even with a comfortable lead or it can lead to surprising situations.
Luckily it didn't go to that and G2 leaders lapped us so a lap less to do , which suited me just fine :). Glad to win my class , well done Mattias for the 2nd and Brian for the 3rd place..congrats to Joco , Reinhard and Julio also for the G2 podiums.
Thanks for the race and cya...

Tough day at the office once again , Spa sure is a tough track to love at times ,lucky 3rd at the end but unfortunately missed most of the fun.
Q: No time , overslept...
R: Careful start because i expected some traffic at the the top of Eau and everyone around me did the same , everything was looking cool and controlled but then a car popped out from thin air right in front of me. No chance to avoid it and a chain reaction was ready...car took a big hit both front and rear but it was still pretty ok to drive and managed to pick some positions in the following laps.
Then had some troubles with a Lister coming through at the bus-stop but getting really slow exit and that ended with me running into him , sent a PM already but my apologies once more... my bad eventually.
Didn't get more than few corners before a Porsche run into troubles on top of Eau and somehow i lost it after the situation was already cleared , brushed the guardrail heavily and car was really looking sad at that point already... left side door panel was pretty much the only thing that resembled the original shape :p.
Car was painfully slow at that point but still drivable and after some serious effort with sledge hammer and racer tape , my car felt actually pretty good and i could do somewhat competitive laptimes again after my pitstop....well done pitcrew :).
Unfortunately i lost too much time in the 1st stint and time run out before i could get into fight with Aaron and Mattias who seem to have a blast... i was actually cursing several times out loud because i was too far away to see the action , would have been fun to mix into it :).
Luke at the 1st place had already long gone and dominated the nGT field , leaving no doubt who was the fastest on nGT... Congrats for the deserved win. Well done Aaron too for the hard earn 2nd place and cheers for the GT podium also , good to see my interference at the end didn't cost you too much Joco..it could have gone a bit smoother but just didn't get in sync with you this time :).
Thanks all for the race , tough one but all the same it was good to see a decent field of cars and seems like good battles here and there...just missed mine today :).
Cheers...

Did a lot of testing and got the car pretty much to my liking but once again it didn't work on race session ,can't figure out what's causing it coz last time i had way too much oversteer in race , now understeer.
Not much to tell about the race otherwise , had a spin on lap 5 or 6 while trying to overtake Alex but apparently there was a slight contact which turned the rear around. It was side to side but i have to put my hand up and say it was prolly my own fault , fortunately it looks like both of us got away with only minor damage... actually it made my car much better because now atleast it turned properly into the corners.
Looks like i better stop setting up these cars and just reverse them into the pit wall a few times , much better result and lot quicker too :D.
Ah well... it wasn't all bad thou , had an exciting chase where i tried to catch Frans and the gap was around 2-3 secs for a long time but just when i saw that his tyres gave up a bit , mine did too half a lap later and couldn't get close enough before the race ended.
Thanks all and cya around...congrats to Mike , Joco and Ross for the podiums.

Tough work these cars , feels more like P2 cars than GT's thou but good fun all the same. Went for a safe choice with Lexus because it felt like i can't get the tyre wear on control with other cars , had my eyes on Nissan Z but didn't have the guts to take it :).
Q: An ok lap and a 3rd position on the grid , monster lap from Reinhard and a clear pole..nice one.
R: Good start but it got a bit crowded and dropped back few places , then got back to 4th after a short fight with Vini and set my sights on Maciej on 3rd. We had a good close race going on for several laps but suddenly he pulled a side and let me through , surprised me completely and i kind of lost the rhythm for a while heh... not complaining thou , thanks mate :).
Tried to push and catch Joco but i guess i was already on the limit and pushing more only hurt the lap times , when Maciej got into troubles later on , it was a lonely drive to the finish. Didn't give up and tried to keep the pace up but top 2 didn't make any mistakes and 3rd was the best i could do today. Good race and no major mistakes so gotta be satisfied for that...thanks all for the race and well done Reinhard for the win... cheers :).

Ah man , i forgot the race report...
Went for an tier 1 car just to see how it goes against bigger classes but the long straights of Paul Ricard were poison to it. I think i qualified last so i decided to drop back to my original position after the restart , then had some tight racing with Ray who, for some reason didn't have a very good straight line speed and we kept together quite a long time.
Sorry if i was a bit erratic at some point Ray , pushed a bit too hard sometimes and wandered off of the racing line.
At the end finished 4th coz i took only a splash of fuel at the stop and jumped few positions but overall the race was a bit lonely , got some good info thou and learned a lot about the car setup.
Thanks for the race and cya around... Going to have a busy monday so i'm not sure if i can get into the season opener but will see.
Cheers...
