Tough race - couple of observations and questions;

GTR-XD seems to calculate fuel burn differently than GTR-PD...was burning 2.347 in race trim according to GTR-PD earlier this week. GTR-XD (which I used in the race) calculated me at 2.48. Miscalc caused me to have to pit for a splash and dash but the crew chief called for tires instead of fuel...did one more lap, lost a couple more places then came in for fuel.

GT runners behaved really well...a wide track helps, but not an issue until Tom tapped me at the end. No hard feelings Tom, I had to pit that lap anyway so it didn't affect the outcome of my race. I let whoever was in front of you by, but just didn't see ya.

It was quite a different temperature in the warmup than for the race...i could have sworn the warmup was about 34C, but in the race we were running 24-25C...is that supposed to happen?

Finally - about 1/2 I had a giant PC lockup, by the time I came back andmy pc had unfrozen I had not only been passed but was racing in something like 4 bit color...it was all screwed up...2 laps later the damn thing happened again, except when it came back this time I was back running full graphics. Really odd - i suspect from my position on track and how it changed that folks were able to pass me and I hope a frozen car didn't catch anyone off guard. Really screwey...should probably run with RivaTuner hardware monitoring next time to see what caused it.

Was a fun drive - had some great battles with other nGT folks and everyone drove cleanly and i hope I did as well. Can't remember anyones name, but it was a blast. Glad I was able to finish and congrats to the GT and nGT podiums.
