Well that was definitely not one of my better races. Had an early incident in T1 and slid into the barriers taking off my right front tire. That put me in last of the cars on track. Then things started to go fairly smoothly until I put the power down too quick and spun it. No cars were coming so I made a U-turn. Then got a D/T which at the time couldn't think of why, but after seeing the broadcast I found out. You can see pretty far back where I was and saw no one coming, so I didn't even think about turning around on the grass, but it just goes to show how seriously we take the rules which I do like to see. And hopefully that will help me to not make that mistake again.
After my D/T some PT's were coming up to lap me and in stead of paying attention to my braking spot I was trying to stay out of their way and slid off track again, this time killing my engine.
I was about at my limit of sitting in my chair anyways, but would have been fun to at least get to the end. Either way, I'm definitely looking forward the the rest of the special events, it was overall a very fun experience.
