Virginia GT3 on Nov 20, 2009
Car: Porsche GT3 . Class: GT3. Start: 10. Finish: 12. Laps: 12.
Had a decent first 10 minutes, making up places as others fell off and getting up to 5th or 6th. Then I caught the edge of a kerb which shot me into the inside wall, causing aero and susp damage. Car was a beast after that but I decided to stick it out to the finish.
Definitely something wrong with the timing on this event. The timer countdown was still showing a few minutes when the chequered flag came out. I was about to pit for a splash/dash thinking I'd miscalculated my fuel.
