Euro-Ring GT on Mar 04, 2010
Car: Volvo S60-R. Class: NAGT. Start: 9. Finish: 12. Laps: 39.

Seriously, if Robert or Alexandru would like to pass on a few pointers on keeping that kind of speed with the Volvo without burning the tires off, then please let me know because I do not possess that knowledge.

I was happy to qualify 9th. I made it through the bump and grind of the first few laps, but my tires turned to crap quickly. I had to push to keep up, and had some great battles, but my tires just simply were wearing out too fast.

I was really hoping to make it to the end but it was not to be as with 3 laps left my left front tire gave out and I have to go in for a new set. 36 secs later I had dropped from 8th to 12th.

I made a last ditch effort to catch Mark but I was behind Mike, and he was faster than me, but he wasn't interested in pushing the issue with Mark, so no chance to catch him.

I agree, this is a crappy little track. At least Tristan recovered from his punt and came back to 2nd to move Tk into second place.
