Well I got to the track late and barely had enough time to get some kind of setup put together. Just as I was saving my setup the track reset....argh! I saw it in the chat but I wasn't smart enough to stop and save it in time... Lol . So I lost it completely. Had to qualify with default. Had to pee but I needed to try and repeat the setup during warmup so I'd just have to hold it!!!!
Race starts and its ok but I forgot to change the gears. Finally over cook it and bust it up a bit. Go to the pits, get out to go pee, have a slice of pizza then proceed to finish the race. After the pit crew was done the car started moving out of pit lane without me. I was finishing up eating and I noticed I'm almost past the pit stalls! Lmao! The guys were throwing me back out there with a handfull of pizza and nothing to drink!! I grabbed a soda and jumped in the seat and took off before some kind if strange penalty might be assessed. Maybe I'll win the press on regardless... Hahahaha
I was totally unprepared and it showed!! A real big " I'm sorry" to Bill as I punted him good coming off the backchute in qualifying.
I had some good laps just following Scott and later Matt and Scott while I sipped on that soda I threw in the car after my pee break and before my guys could shove it out on the track without me!
Gears to Jan for the win!

Congrats to Fahn for a job well done winning the P3000 series title. Barring any major mishaps it looks like Ryan will take the S5000 title.
My plan for this race was to minimize the mistakes I've been making and hope for the best. As the race started I tried to hang right with Ryan and hopefully we would pull away from the Porsches. The plan was working and then all of a sudden Ryan is off to the left and I'm now in front by 2+ seconds over Brette!! Rather than panicing or thinking of all the stuff that could go wrong I just concentrated on hitting my marks. Fortunately the plan worked! I don't have many outright wins so this one is sweet.
I used the "lights on" method just to let the 3 liter cars know I was going to pass and none seemed to do any special maneuvering which is exactly what I was hoping for. As usual the passes were all clean and safe. Thank you!

Kurt you must've been driving a yellow car!! It's the last lap and I'm trying to setup Jon for a pass going into Parabolica when all of a sudden there's a car on my left!! I'm already squeezing the left side so you must've been in the grass. It was only Jon and I the entire straight away. I never had a clue anyone else was around. I was as surprised as you. Sorry buddy.
The race went as expected as Ryan muffed the Parabolica at the end of the first flying lap I took the lead and pulled a slight gap from Scott. Then I proceeded to mess up the same turn and drop back out of the top ten. From there it got sort of rough as I clobbered the wall a few times and had some good battles trying to get back towards the front.
Sorry Rob and Daniel for the love tap. Someday I'll dial in some brakes!
A comment on the yellow flag deal. I'm glad to have it as it has saved me plowing into someone spinning or sprawled out across the track but unlike real racing I don't see many slowing or worried about passing. In sim racing I think its seen as more of the incident indicator than a safety issue. Slowing down for someone who's flown off the track rarely happens and someone else doing so will more than likely cause another yellow at that point if the track is clear. I play it as I see it when the time comes.

Just finished watching the Video Fahn.........was great as usual. You and Alex had a whale of a battle going on there!!
Rob and I had almost the same thing only we were usually a few more car lengths apart. Obviously we didn't want to run in to each other and ruin a good Team finish so we kept it close and didn't take any chances. I followed Rob most of the race and finally saw my chance to pass him. I stayed ahead of him for a few laps then noticed my fuel was suspiciously low and would need to stop early. I added extra fuel for the stop but NOT ENOUGH!!!! Had to stop AGAIN!.....I'll be checking my numbers a little closer next time.
Congrats to the podiums!
