David Ulmer took Pole position and from the inside line got a great start, able to move to the outside well before T1. The rest of the field enjoy the Indy atmosphere whilst jostling for position.

Celebrating victory at Talladega after 80 laps (212 miles; 1 hour and 10 minutes) of green flag running. Burn out so aggressive I blew the rear tyres!!!

Green flag stops with less than 10 to go left Graydon and Almeida to fight it out over P1. Here it's the tiniest of gaps at 190mph, Graydon coming out on top.

10 laps to go - it's close amongst the top 4! Malanga (28) & Barisoff tandem did a great job catching up 6 seconds vs Almeida and Graydon. Here Malanga gets a sniff inside Graydon into T3. Turning-in took off 1mph and now he's right there!

Luis Almeida (08) and Andy Graydon (46) led from the 1st pitstop outcome, and both made a near perfect entry come stop number two with only 7 laps left. Luis locks up his right front, Andy 'as smooth as', hitting the line at 1mph under the limit!!!

Eventually the field settled down into line-astern action. As the race went all green for the full 80 laps, Pitstop entry skills would decide the final outcome.

Early race, two lines formed leading to some see-sawing of position for quite a few laps. Safer Barrier camera shows the cars blasting past heading for T1 at just under 190 mph. Close action - Fay and Partridge are hidden behind others in this shot!

As Watson pitted from P1, I was confident my pace would ensure I came out P1 when I planned to pit 4 laps later. BUT...on the back straight, lapping Jordi, he moved over, got on the grass, and speared across the track in front of me. Major crash!

One mistake and I lost my lead to Iain Watson. From then until he pitted, it was pressure, pressure, pressure. This is the braking zone at the end of the long straight at Mid Ohio, flames belching from the exhaust as I change down the gears.

Marshalls post gets a nice peep-hole to watch the action from! Me leading the race with a healthy 6 second lead around half way point.

Lap 35 and Zulehner leads into T1. P2 Malanga locks up his front left wheel on that nasty bump (sending him high into the turn). Graydon takes advantage (and P2) on the inside line. Seconds later he would be P1 as the leader half spins on T2 exit.

Burning rubber to celebrate my 18th R2P ARCA victory. 150 laps/miles of Loudon went caution free, 1 stop strategy worked perfectly, truly showing this Sims amazing tyre model. Conserving whilst having a decent pace ensured victory.

Leader McLucas is followed by Graydon. From the lap 44 restart to the lap 100 finish, it was pretty close until the last 15 laps. Graydon trying to hang in the draft, McLucas trying to push whenever the gap appeared to increase. Great battle.

15 laps to go, McLucas (out of shot in lead) is pulling away. Graydon tries to push - here 190mph literally an inch away from the wall heading for T1. Melton, Cotterill and Malanga are starting to close in on his P2!

Justin McLucas dominated the whole event, Qualifying through to Race and restarts. Great win, with (no doubt) some 'help from up above'.

Variante Ascari, Fairley locks up under braking, gets it sideways, drifts and straddles the entry kerbing. Graydon behind about to get a face full of smoke (and can't see the hell where he's going - LOL!)
