P3, Lap 84 of 85. Blanchimont - sparks flying, spray from the damp track. Over 3 hours behind the wheel at this point, the rain is heavier, the track slippier - and all on a set of soft slicks that had been on the car since lap 30!
Bus-stop chicane. Darren Adams (P2) and Graydon (P3) about to have the slightest of touches. Graydon took P2 at this point with Adams tucking in after a small slide as a result. Graydon apologised after race, confirming in car he felt no contact.
Out of Les Combes and heading for Rivage. P5 Mraz; P6 Graydon; P7 Jackson; P8 Montour. For the first few laps it was this close around a damp Spa Francorchamps!
Full with fuel, a left turn oversteer moment (transition from accelerator to brakes) when the chicane goes right is not to be recommended! Led to an early trip through the gravel trap.
Wicks 15th, Graydon 16th, this battle went on for a few laps - two damaged cars with different handling characteristics - understeer for Mark, oversteer for Andy.
Graydon gets spun around when a following car seriously outbrakes itself - left me in P20 out of P21 at this point of first lap. Front left damage was from hitting a spinning Mark Wicks at the start.
The start of the end for Graydon (and eventually Pol). Lapped nGT on the right, GT in the distance. 4 cars heading for one corner at the same time! Why am I surprised?
