Celebrating victory at Talladega after 80 laps (212 miles; 1 hour and 10 minutes) of green flag running. Burn out so aggressive I blew the rear tyres!!!

Green flag stops with less than 10 to go left Graydon and Almeida to fight it out over P1. Here it's the tiniest of gaps at 190mph, Graydon coming out on top.

10 laps to go - it's close amongst the top 4! Malanga (28) & Barisoff tandem did a great job catching up 6 seconds vs Almeida and Graydon. Here Malanga gets a sniff inside Graydon into T3. Turning-in took off 1mph and now he's right there!

Luis Almeida (08) and Andy Graydon (46) led from the 1st pitstop outcome, and both made a near perfect entry come stop number two with only 7 laps left. Luis locks up his right front, Andy 'as smooth as', hitting the line at 1mph under the limit!!!

Eventually the field settled down into line-astern action. As the race went all green for the full 80 laps, Pitstop entry skills would decide the final outcome.

Early race, two lines formed leading to some see-sawing of position for quite a few laps. Safer Barrier camera shows the cars blasting past heading for T1 at just under 190 mph. Close action - Fay and Partridge are hidden behind others in this shot!

Leader McLucas is followed by Graydon. From the lap 44 restart to the lap 100 finish, it was pretty close until the last 15 laps. Graydon trying to hang in the draft, McLucas trying to push whenever the gap appeared to increase. Great battle.

15 laps to go, McLucas (out of shot in lead) is pulling away. Graydon tries to push - here 190mph literally an inch away from the wall heading for T1. Melton, Cotterill and Malanga are starting to close in on his P2!

Let's just say that my heart was racing after this one. I thought I was about to loose my race right here. I just had enough race track to save it, as I was at the grass when I finally had it straight.

Justin McLucas dominated the whole event, Qualifying through to Race and restarts. Great win, with (no doubt) some 'help from up above'.

Brakes. Martinsville is extremely hard on them. Short straight between tight turns means they have no time to cool down despite max ducts. Go fast, fronts will go up to as high as 3200 Fahrenheit (and will fail!). Glowing away at 2000 is the way to go!

With less than 2 laps to go, Andy Graydon eventually manages to get inside team-mate Bob Fay and take P3, with a fast closing Jamie Shorting (out of shot) not far behind!

Early laps, and with 150 in total most drivers were conserving tyres and in particular brakes. One tough track to run fast and still not ruin either!
