Ok guys, here's the scoop. *Drum roll*

I am going to be kicking back a bit and not hosting a full time/points series for this chapter- at least for July and August. But I do have some non-points races lined up using the GTR 2 2008 FIA GT mod (which was originally was going to be used on Tuesday nights). So far, we've had good racing with it.

ILMS will be placed on indefinite vacation until the new, and perhaps final version, comes out. Though if the future Endurance Series mod picks up popularity at R2P, then there will be no point in using ILMS which is fine by me.

Anyways, I am planning on a couple of non-points (rank/stats still kept) GTR 2 races at Spa in July, another TBA race in August and September.

Let the dog days of summer begin..............

Thanks for the update Charles. But no ILMS in season 13 would be a miss imho. Your series is popular and so is the upcoming 3 hrs of Le Mans on June the 13th. So I really hope Tim finds room in the season 13 schedule to do a ILMS-series under the R2P-flag.

Its up to charles in the end wether he wants to run ILMS. As he's said, he's waiting for the new version. If you guys want to run ILMS, maybe chip in together for a short championship?

What about another 3 hour Spa LMS GTR2 race Charles!?!?!

As I implied, the decision to not host ILMS for Season 13 really boils down to taking some time off this summer (winter for you southern hemisphere folks). I am also curious to see how the ILMS mod progresses when the next and possibly final version is out... whenever that may be. I know a few of our members here race at Champion Motorsports, where they have been using the full mod for quite some time. Perhaps they can give us a glimpe into the future. I keep a tab on their results and the number of actual drivers per race is pretty cool. 35-40?! Nice.

I understand ILMS is a popular series at R2P, averaging about 25 drivers per race AND most of them being supporting members which is the best part. I do not know if R2P will be hosting ILMS for S13. You would have to lobby Tim/Todd for some events. Otherwise, there's always the independent chapter system. Just year ago to this date, there were only 4 or 5 independent chapters! Now there are up to 15 active chapters!!! The last couple of months alone have been very busy for Tim/Todd, along with the good business.

I have 3 GTR2 events on the schedule with a fun, cool looking and sounding mod at popular tracks. No points, just stats. Winners take all bragging rights and possibly more.

MAYBE, just maybe I will host 1 or 2 ILMS fun-runs if/when the new version is out this summer. Time will tell.

Andy, how about 2 hours at Spa with the 2008 FIA GT cars?

As long as the timing is OK I'm up for it, no problem.

By the way, not looked at sorting out those graphical issues re the last download I did - has there been an update or is it just my 5 yr old PC can't cope!!! Maybe it's DX8/9 related? Will have to look inot this.
