What is the GT Summer Challenge? A fun, non-points series using the 2008 FIA GT cars for GTR2: 3 classes
Winners take home all bragging rights... and more. Taking part in this challenge is not mandatory. Having fun is the important part! Challenge 1 Win each race in 1 class. However, you must drive a different car make and model for each win.
OR Challlenge 2 Win each race in each class. No car restrictions. The winner will be rewarded with monetary credit redeemable at the Race2Play online store. ** A supporting membership is required. ------------------------------ Required files for GTR2: * FIA GT 2008 mod v1.0 (388mb) ------------------- - 3-class FIA GT endurance racing (10 entries max per class)
Signups: A supporting membership is required. Attendance: Please review R2P code and regulation 0.9 - Miscellaneous items regarding unregistering and no shows. The Rules: This series follows Race2Play Codes and Regulations. No exceptions. Several rules will be reviewed prior to each qualifying and race session. Track Downloads: 'R2P supported' tracks will be in the Files Area, GTR2 folder. 'Unsupported' add-ons will be in the ILMS subdirectory Replays: Replays for each race will be located in the ILMS subdirectory. Recommended Reading: - Tim's guide on how not to get punted -------------- * Restarting of a race These races will be considered "complete" at the 90 minute mark. Any server problems prior to 90 minutes and the race may be rescheduled. Any server problems after 90 minutes, the race will complete according to the last complete lap of the GT1 leader. Otherwise, the general R2P policy is:

Unfortunately the timing - although daytime for me - is on a Sunday late afternoon, and I will not get away with that with the "boss". If I get the slightest chance of doing it, I'll be in though. See how many brownie points I can make up!! Have fun guys. |

I would like to say I'm gonna be there for this one, but summertime usually means a full plate at my house and shop. We'll have to see how is goes. Would definately like to be at Spa for sure. |

I just had a look at what cars there are listed under the Classes links found on the signup page (http://www.race2play.com/schedule/show_event/3898). Under GT1 there is no Ferrari 575 Does anyone know if the 575 will be available to drive? Cheers |

Don't think F575 can be available Roger as in 2008 there was just one F550 and no F575.
