In case you do not read the pre race, here is our rules for the race, your entry into the race is taken as having read this post. Lack of knowledge will be no excuse, and any penalties incurred in game will be on your head. 1. To qualify, you can do a lap of the GP track from the pits, then take the final GP track right hander, keeping to the right of the bollards there, and cross the S/F line, instead of setting off into the country, and start your qualifying lap then. 2. In the race itself, you must do a lap of the GP track BEFORE pitting in the marked area at the end of the GP track (ie normal Nurburg pit entrance). The shortcut into the pits from the end of the old track onto the GP track is not allowed under any circumstances. 3. For this race you will be able to ESC out during qual in an attempt to get a time.I will therefore leave the Q time at its present length. 4. You do not gain a lap by pitting, you will lose 1m40 to the car in front, as you need to take the GP track again, but obviously as everyone needs to pit this is not an issue. It will be if you have to pit more than once as you will lose 1m40 essentially by having to do the GP track twice on one lap. 5. If you do pit on lap one, before even leaving the GP track, the pit lane exit light is red, and in testing stays so for about 3.5mins after the start of the race, if you exit before it has turned green you will be DQ. So therefore the suggestion is take it very easy at the start to avoid losing this time. |
