...has been released! Here's to hoping a lot of the bugs have been ironed out. *crossing my fingers*

The same thing like in 09, a little touch of the wall and a tire gone.

Not at all...managed to run some laps earlier, it feels awesome. Damage model is great, you can actually take alot of damage which affects handling instead of getting a flat with the slightest impact. The trucks feel great and not like it weights 10 tons. I will be looking forward to a season in these.

Remember guys, we will not start using this version until Tim and I have had time to fully test everything. Continue with the 2009 version for our races until further notice.

I've already got a stripped down rfactor install ready to put this on by itself, so i dont have any issues with 09'. I would advise others to do the same until VHR 09 is phased out.

I really, really like VHR-2010. The sounds are new and fresh, the cockpit looks cool and up to date. The car handing is much better and tire wear is, well it's interesting (i've never seen the rf be the coolest tire of all four).

I tested last night for about 2 hours at Martinsville, Chicago, Atlanta, and Tally. My setups from VHR09 at these tracks are off, just like i thought.

Martinsville:
Old setup was stable on exit and middle, but needs help in entry.

Chicago:
Old setup was stable, but had no speed and was over 1 sec off pace.

Atlanta:
Again, old setup was around 1 sec off pace.

Tally:
Old setup seemed pretty good, although i wasn't able to race. My non-draft laptimes were right there with everyone elses.

Also, i tested a pit-stop at Atlanta and drove through the pits too fast, i was able to clear it on the next lap by just doing a drive-thru. So hopefully all that will work much better in the new ver.

Mark, was it that you felt you could get that second off or that this mod has gotten better in real feel of the cars, slowing them down from last mod. (the lap times where too fast)

No, what i'm comparing is when i jumped into a public server and loaded my setups from VHR09, they were 1 sec off the new pace. I was able to get most of my time back with some changes to the car.

I haven't compared laptimes of old vs. new. And to be honest, i don't really care. :-) I just want a stable setup i can punt guys with.. j/k :-)
