Fanatec’s spokseman Thomas Jackermeier posted the prices for the upcoming ClubSport Wheel base and its first two detachable rims. “Prices are as usual in Euro with VAT included and in USD without sales tax,” Jackermeier prefaces.
ClubSport Wheel Base: 449,95
BMW GT2 rim: 249,95
Formula rim: 179,95
These two rim offerings are just the beginning; Jackermeier states there will be many more rims coming up at a lower and higher prices. The blog ends saying that the pricing for Japan, Australia and Canada will be announced at a later date.

Good news re the Australia thing. At the moment they simply do not ship to Australia at all (I confirmed with them late last year via e-mail). Now, how can I start saving the pennies when the wife always spends my money?!?

I really want one! I know equipment isn't everything but I truely believe this would help me at least consistency wise once set up properly. Keep us up to date on yours Jim! I know you will :)

So this ClubSport wheel, and ClubSport V2 pedals look to go live, along with a new website on Thursday...
Anyone going to buy it? I know Jim is chopping at the bit to get it :P
I'm contemplating to get it right away, or wait off until I get my cockpit sorted.
It's gonna be a big bill for both!
From what has been posted in his blog, they're not going to have enough to fulfill all the orders right away.

Are you going to order right away, Robert? I'd be curious to what you guys think of it. I've seen the beta tester reviews, but I want people I know to tell me what they think.
That's a lot of damn money :P I could be putting into my Mustang.
