It's that time again ... the R2P Official has asked us to submit our schedule for the upcoming season(s). As I've done in the past, I wanted to get your input and ideas on what you like.
To keep it simple, I've narrowed it down to a few choices. If you could rank your preferences (A, B, C, ...) in order of best to worst that would be very helpful :) The series will fill our current time slot on Saturdays (US/Euro).
As always, thanks for your help and I'll see you on the track!

My thinking in no particular order of how you asked it....
I would prefer not running 2 hour races in the summer - it is just too hot and people are off doing too many things and the field size could be smaller as a result.
I would prefer shorter seasons (3 months vs 6 months). rF2 should be out in the next 2(doubtful) to 4 (hopefully less) months and I wouldn't want people to jump ship mid-season and I want to be able to shift to where the majority are likely to be racing - and there will be variety there as well
I will drive any of the series mentioned - no real preference cuz I can suck at any of them. I enjoy GTL and it would be the 'newest' in terms of variety so that would have a slight edge....
You may have asked other questions but this is all I have for now....And to say Thank You once again for all the time and effort organizing all of this for us!!

C :D
But my opinion doesn't mean too much, since in the last 2 Saturday champs I joined 1 or 2 races, because of commitments with other series, of course my participation on this one (I will join any of these if possible, C is just my preference) will depend of other series' schedule.

D. How 'bout A. using the GT Sport or Club cars? And I will, of course, again lobby for the Camaro Cup (2010). :)

D. GT Pro/Sport/Club. 2 hour races are fine. For the schedule, I think one per month or every three weeks will work.

I would say A with a +1 for multi-class.
If two champs are a possibility that would be awesome!

It seems like we just finished with them, so touring cars can wait a little. I like the idea of running two championsips and my choice would be "C" Gr.2 cars (or Gr.4 is fine) and a spec racer championship, we can take any one model and run with it, to have more close racing and more summer fun (would love to do this with Gillet from GT Glub class), it's like Camaro Cup, only different.;}

#1 - Preference order: A-B-C
#2 - Just thinking out loud: 1 champ during 6 months and 2 races per month, for a total of 12 races. I like the idea of a long championship, but some people might find it boring though?

I would agree that B could wait a bit longer - when it does return it will have hungry drivers:).
A - would be good to see GT Pro/Sport - provided the split is around equal - which might be difficult to guarantee. Maybe running GT Sport only (seeing as we are doing GT Pro now)?
C - I've now got GTL up and running though have never driven it for more than a few laps. Sounds interesting though. Numbers? Or would people be willing to pay for the game which is available as a Digital download at a very reasonable cost via Simbins own Raceroom online store?
D - Ed knows that's being worked on for the same timeslot when IMSS isn't racing......and Jim Eagan might just find himself in Simracing Heaven!!!
Other - 2 Championships over a 6 month period sounds great. As does 1 Championship over 6 months, making it a longer (and potentially harder) Series. Provided the turn out continues as it is now, it'll be one to remember for sure! I'm easy either way.
Race length - maybe 1.5 hours max for those with Summer to contend with. Some of us will be in our Winter.....but that Winter probably feels like your Summers anyway - LOL!

It's A, C then B for me
I do enjoy a good multi-class race :) longer the race the better for me.
But had GTL for a while now but never really played it so would be nice to give that a go. Don't really mind on the season length probably going to be another summer of rain for us anyway so will give me an excuse not to go out and get wet!

Thanks guys - I really appreciate the feedback.
It seems pretty overwhelming that the group would like to continue doing GT events (although not specifically just the PRO level). I'm happy to see that there's also some interest in doing GT Legends too.
Everyone also seems open to the idea of longer schedule, perhaps with greater gaps in between. So I'm going to plan on two championships starting late July and going through early December with 5 o 6 races each.
I need to get a final schedule to the R2P official soon, so look for a final announcement within the next week.

1) A: GT Sport only
Race distance between 75-90 min.
2) I prefer one at time, just trying to avoid family incompatibilities.

The option "A" but with 2 classes and more cars on track. 15 GTPro and 15 GTSport.
