The series has gone "Semi Pro" hence the new limitations.
But yes, clicking on 'Series Notes' there appear to be two different sets of weather and points allocated?
Re Teamspeak - I assume there will be a room on Teamspeak for the series (FIA GT 2004 GTR2, or something similar) which all drivers can go into if they wish. It does say 'recommend' though, so I read that as you don't have to be on Teamspeak if you don't want to.

I just wanted to add teamspeak makes it a lot easier to figure out who's doing what, especially in multi-class racing.
Announcing your intentions to let someone by and what line your giving up saves a lot of unnecessary contact with a slower class car.

Hi guys.
I've been looking at the lineup of cars for the 25th season. I noticed that R2P allows RSR and GTC cars to race in NGT.
I do wonder if R2P doesn't realise that the P996 RSR and F360GTC are G2 class cars. G2 vehicles are 2 secs a lap faster than NGT. The same but opposite is true for the Morgan Aero 8 and the Mosler MT900R in the G2. These cars were actually NGT and incorrectly registered as G2 for the 2004 Spa 24hr race.
Its a wonder these cars don't see any action here as they are in the wrong class (similar to the Corvette being registered as a G2, though common sense will tell you its a GT).
R2P should correct this and make the necessary changes to ensure that the cars are allowed to race in their correct designations. (Or make the new Masters a triple class race). This will ensure a fair and consistent racing experience for everyone. I would definitely appeal against an NGT result for instance, if an RSR was allowed to finish ahead of me in a TVR. I do hope R2P sees the sense in this and makes the proper corrections.
Corvette C5R = GT Class
Porsche 996 RSR and Ferrari 360 GTC = G2 class
Mosler MT900R and Morgan Aero 8 = NGT Class
Cheers

Fernando, why do you say RSR and GTC are G2 cars? They are not that in GTR2. Besides, I don't agree with (all) G2 cars being 2 secs faster than NGT cars. Corvette obviously is way faster but not the rest.
As far as I know, the classifications in GTR2 for all cars are correct. Some cars, like Morgan and Mosler, were G2 at Spa 2004 because of rules issues.
I do agree that changing classes for some cars in GTR2 would be beneficial for racing - like Morgan and Mosler to NGT - but it hasn't been done so far, I guess it won't happen.

Tony, G2 and G3 classes only exist at the Spa 24hrs race. Spa has special considerations to take into account, mainly that its a 24hr race, and fuel efficiency plays massive part in classification. Everywhere else they are either not used or are in a different class. Its seems as Simbin simply did things this way to save on having multiple versions of the same vehicles (same team but different Spa only car/paint). The Gillet Vertigo and Viper CC for example are only used at the Spa race, the same as far as I know is true for the "special" G2 classed GTC and RSR cars.
In terms of the RSR and GTC, it is plain to see that these cars are in the G2 class. An RSR or GTC is a popular choice to race directly against an M3 GTR (one of the fastest G2 in pure lap-times) in most G2 races, and hence is it totally unfair to have these cars racing against NGTs. In terms of the 2 secs faster statement, that is the least. The slowest G2 by pure lap-times is at least 2+ secs faster than the fastest NGT (The fastest NGT by lap-time only is the T400R).
Unless people are actually familiar with racing real NGTs only, (as opposed to RSR/GTC included) they would not know this due to the R2P fastest lap-time records incorrectly stating an RSR/GTC "G2" lap-time as an NGT record. R2P should really switch their lap-time record system to indicate by single car instead of class. (Eg fastest lap-time for a track: P996-RS or Nissan 370 instead of NGT). It would then be much easier to see what I am referring to when you put all the cars (G2 + NGT) in a side by side table comparison.
Some cars are faster than others in the same class, however a car with pure lap-time speed always has poorer fuel efficiency and that is always equalised by another car that has less laptime speed but lower fuel usage. The cars are equalised by the real world handicapping regulations of the FIA GT, so in a 3 hour race they will tend to play out equally when used with their optimum strategies.
