Following the recent Saturday evening Day to Night race (USA/Canada timezone), and some nice numbers turning up, I've decided to go for a 6 race season in the same timeslot during R2P S25.
Yep, Saturday night Stock Car racing returns to R2P, and with the ARCA Sim too - how much better can it get!!!
The series starts Saturday evening 14th July (USA/Canada), which equates to Sunday midday-ish 15th July (Australia/New Zealand timezone).
Running every two weeks until 22nd September (USA/Can) / 23rd September (Aus/NZ).
Qualifying/Happy Hour period max of 15 minutes.
Race length - time limit of 60 minutes.
Full details can be viewed via the Sim Factory ARCA Stock Car Hour Series page, including Series Notes and Additional Restrictions (the same as our current Ultimate Challenge season).
3 events are within 12 hours of our running the Ultimate Challenge season (Sunday's). What I've done here is to try to make sure the events in both Series are the same. So there's only a need to practice for one track should you wish to take part in both Series. I've matched two of the three events - Pocono and Rockingham. The third event would have been San Jose - but I've changed that to Toban Park Long (another road circuit and one we have not raced before at ARAIG).
I hope we can get as many of you ARCA racers (who are signed up at R2P) to take part. This Sim deserves it!

Thanks for the series, Andy. I'll make as many as I can but looking at the schedule, it looks like I can only race in three of them. That's just how it is, I guess.
See you all on track!

it is saturday night (11:15 PM for me) is better than was a season before that was 7:00 PM. I think I'll be able to race all.
and next round we have 2 races at Pocono! asks me if I liked? :)

I know how much you like Pocono, Luis!!! As in - Like and Fast too!!

I'd be lying if I didn't say I like this time slot better than the Sunday morning.
Usually we do family things but I'm home most of the time before the start time, unless my wife wants to have a drink or 7.
Still its a good slot Andy, and for once your not up at freaking 2am racing, lol.

Conor! You still letting a little thing like a court martial keep you from racing? Priorities man!
The only bad thing about a Saturday night timeslot is that I'm usually pretty toasted by 10PM, my time. You sober guys are already beating me!

No problem Tom....just remember to click the 'register' button - we've been missing you!

Pocono 'Hour' Series Event:- (raceday = Sat eve 14th July USA)
Many many thanks to Jeff Luke at AUSTEAM, we have a practice server up NOW for our Pocono events next weekend.
They will likely go down on Thursday/Friday (AUSTEAM use), but R2P servers will be up around Friday/Saturday anyway.
Take the opportunity to get some online practice with others this coming week - shout out on pre race:).

With just over 2.5 days to Qualifying, we currently have 17 drivers signed up for the inaugural ARAIG ARCA Hour Stock Car Series, the first event at Pocono being held in USA this coming Saturday evening.
Nice to see some old faces returning, and some newer ones. Really looking forward to this event and fingers crossed we get a full turn out:).

Just a reminder to the new guys joining us to read the Stickied Forum Posts. Most relate to the way we race at R2P. Respectful is the way to go, and we have a lot of regulars who do this extremely well. We have hard racing, don't get me wrong, but there's a lot of fair play and "take your time" mentality in there.
Jason Cotterill has let me know he would be racing - but it's his wife's Birthday, so basically if he did race he'd be "dead meat"!!!!!!!
18 sign ups now and a potential 19th with a new join request. Remember to get some practice in:). I'll let you know when the R2P server is up (AUSTEAM's practice server has gone as they now host their own race).

19 sign ups now!
R2P server for the "Hour" Series (USA Saturday evening) is now up.
Standard R2P practice server password (for the new guys to R2P, check out your 'Dashboard' page - bottom right side the password is indicated).
As we near race day, there will be a specific password - again 'Dashboard' page but listed under the Event entered.

Just a heads up for Round 4 - 25th August (Saturday) USA - event changed to San Jose road circuit from Toban Long.
Ultimate challenge series runs around 11 hours later and is at San Jose. Rather than anyone wanting to run both Series having to learn two road circuits for one weekend, I've changed it to the same event (much like Rockingham this weekend) so we only have to leran one circuit.
Hopefully this will increase the numbers and redcue drop outs (I know, Road Circuits!!!).
