Am very close to dropping a load on a T500RS... but the G27 may be a better value.
Anyone out there able to provide a comparison?

Check out You Tube - there's some comparisons on there I came across when I was looking into the G27.

Troy was planning on it (T500RS) and I read some reviews online, more than several poeple write that original wheel that comes with the base has much better quality. F1 wheel is all plastic and those 4 dials have no functions (just for the show) and all complain about Thrustmasters' quality control, I'm assuming they're not happy with this wheel's overall quality. I would definitly do a lot of reading about this one if I were you. ;)

THANK YOU Andy and Jon - especially the news about the F1 wheel's inop. diff / mixture dials. Very good to know.
I'll check out reviews and report back when I've bought something

So, my first race not long ago with the new G27. Has it made a difference? Mmmm....well, I won it if that's anything to go by!
So much more feel in the wheel (and pedals) than the Momo, so clearly having better equipment does make a difference......and after 1oo minutes of racing, my hands smell of leather too (LOL)!

My co-worker bought a G27 at the same time I bought the T500RS. They are both arriving this morning. We will report back Monday!
