As noted it uses CST's (Todd Cannon's) shift light and gear indicator gadget.
I bought one right away, it rocks. I just need to make some sort of faceplate and mount, so the $60 difference might be worth it right there.

Nah, what you want is this beast:

FREX SimConMeter. £207/$408. Without the wheel. Or the necessary adapter (another £103/$203)
