Just want to mention how great it is when everything is working like it should.

Ran the odd-ball race today in GTR2. It ran just great, with smooth as butter FPS in the 70-80 range.

This is with most settings on full, I could never run the game at those settings before I discovered the problem (AGP aperture size was too small).

Happy Dan! : )

Anybody got tips for increasing the FPS on a triple monitor display.

Pentium 4 CPU 3.20GHz
ATI X1900 XTX 512mb
3GB Memory
Triplehead2Go 3840x1024

In Imola during the Oddballs I was getting around 30ish fps or do you think thats all I'm likely to get with the 3 monitors.

What are you Triplehead2Goers getting from your setups??

That's the problem with such a huge display area (JEALOUS).

You need super horsepower for that kind of real estate.

It sure seems like you should be getting more out of your system. Hopefully, someone here can help you out.

Check out the TH2G forums, maybe find something there.

I'd love to have a setup like yours, but the fact that I can run at pretty much max settings with a fairly wimpy setup is only possible because my monitor is a 19" widescreen with only 1440/900 rez.

You guys need to start a Triplehead2Go section (if you don't have one already).

Good luck Chris.

Yea Chris, you system is much stronger then mine and I do not drop into the lower scale of FPS very often. Still, I have taken some minor steps to reduce the possibilities of the lower FPS from happening;

1) I do not run the higher anti-aliasing as it is simply too much when using a TH2Go setup.
2) I have never been a fan of the reflections in these sims, so I usually have these set to low or off
3) Shadows are usually set to low as well. These are just "fluff" items that I get rid of.

There is a thread in the rFactor group about setting your rig up for night-racing. It would have some good info about the headlight settings and such.

I foud that tsr programs like ZoneAlarm Firewall and Nortons AV really pull down framerates.

I ditched both, and now use Comodo firewall.
I am not promoting thier software, but the change really pumped up my frame rates.

I am using a Viewsonic 32" LCD TV for a monitor and this game is now pure eye candy at 1360 x768
