I use 270 most of the time, but occasionally go up to 450. Note that this setting can be used in conjunction with steering lock in the car setup to really dial in the sensitivity you want. |

360 or 400 for GT Legends and 270 for other sims. Note that you can set more degrees in the profiler and go to garage and set a higher sterring lock, meaning you'll have a bit more precision and be able to turn the wheels more. |

It makes it harder to catch spins with the wheel. You have to have fast hands and know how to do hand-over-hand or shuffle steering. But on the other hand you get much more precision near center. You can be a lot smoother at high speeds, and the car is less twitchy. Plus you can turn off aids like the nonlinear steering and low speed steering lock override (Steer Ratio Speed in the PLR file). This also makes the car less twitchy and gives a more natural feel. Note that you'll usually want to max out the steering lock in the car setup if you use 900 deg. |
