Hi, just saw this at SimHQ.
Just about reaches down to my level on setups. Newbie stuff I guess, but someone may find it useful as well: FIND IT HERE

That's actually a pretty nice guide. Its organized, informative, and straight to the point. I too don't really need it too much either and its a little general in some parts but it would be great for newbies or for people who just suck at making setups :)

Thanks to whoever cleaned up my initial post :-)
Much nicer now!

Car unstable = decrease caster?

Rear end unstable on straights = more toe out?

That's interesting. I don't know who created this guide, but I wonder if they followed normal convention or followed the way in which GTR2 physics works. Obviously, they aren't necessarily the same. And I'd be curious of the differences people notice.

I always leave caster maxed out because i like the stability it brings. Decrease it to make it more stable? I dont think so....well not for me at least. Decreasing it will help with the tight turning but it might make it wobbly down the straights and i never liked that. More toe out to create stability on straights? Don't know...never really used the toe angles to make my car stable on straights, only through corners. Those might just be simple mistakes.

Yeah, I would hope they're just mistakes and not because GTR2 is modeled that way. That'd be scary. :)
