Alan and Matt entered their first Euro Formula Trainer event at the famous Laguna Seca circuit, and more then held their own in the 'Amateur' event. Matt qualified 4th, but had moved up to 2nd by the end of the opening lap. Unable to do anything about Ivan Iglesias, that was where he remained. Alan qualified one place further back, and was involved in some good battles in the opening laps. He soon moved up to 3rd, however, and again remained there until the chequered flag. As a result, not only did Team Ecosse secure its first podium finish at Race2Play... the team secured two of them in the one event! |
