The Team of LMTC MotorSports wishes Mr. Joe DiPino a healthy and prosperous future away from R2P. He fought and conquered every race surface the site had to offer but at the end of the day a conflict with race control Mr DiPino felt he didn't have to fight, felt it was in his best interest to part ways. We at LMTC MotorSports wish him the best of luck with his new adventures.

Take Care Friend.

I too wish him all the best. It was always good seeing him on the track in his Lambo back in the day, I hope he can enjoy himself in whatever new occupation(s) he finds as much as he enjoyed himself back then :-)

Cya around Joe.

Okay, I am in a pissy mood because of my PC trouble so I hope those reading this will take it into context.
I don't know what the heck transpired that brought Joe to this point. I don't care frankly. He is family here. Like all families, we have arguments and fights, now I would like to propose that everyone that wishes Joe to come back post here. I saw some of the posts, and I also know Joe had the worst of luck with S7 stock car races; indeed in one infamous incident at Talladega he and I came together and exchanged Italian cordialities and kind gestures for a few days after that. Could the disagreements be that BAD? It has always been a pleasure racing with Joe, hearing his voice on teamspeak was always like walking into the Cheers bar and feeling like meeting up with a friend. When I joined R2P my very first race we had a great battle and we often saw each other testing the F1 79s.
Obviously if Joe feels this strongly that he should not be here, I ain't gonna go put a horse head in his bed to convince him otherwise. If he is so disgusted with the state of the world and sim racing in general that he wishes to close the door on years of friendships that's fine. I don't know either what the stance of "race control" is-- perhaps there are so many things beyond my humble knowledge that I should just take a slightly moisturized towel and shove it in my mouth. I am certainly not trying to mediate anything here. Perhaps I am putting too much of my personal POV here-- R2P has become such a great place for me, where I can rest and meet up with friends and spend time talking about slow bumps and camber. Perhaps Joe already has a place where he can exchange delicate glances to other racers and chit chat about wedge-- but I doubt it, because surely this is where his home and friends for sim racing are, so if he is to stir up some poop on whether to take T1 in 3rd or 4th, this is HIS place.
From what I can tell, Joe has logged in recently and perhaps he is viewing this. Save for acts improper and illegal in certain states, I don't see what could possibly be so bad that it cannot be bridged. If not today, maybe tomorrow.
Show your support and post here: JOE, ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE! Jeff, if you feel this is hijacking your thread of "good luck in the future" just let me know and I will post elsewhere.
