We purposly decided to make a low-key entrance to online competition so that we could get a season in on the sly without too much attention ;-)

S7 was a difficult season for QMRT, out of 24 races just under a third were DNF's and the rest were often results ground out of nothing.

Generally QMRT was concentrating on Stock car events, and it was in this discipline that we did our best regular driver Jon Weal took two podiums and 7 top tens in the Shoot out series and finished his inaugral season at R2P with a 5th place in the standings.

Jon pulled out from competing in the main Stock Car series after a run of disappointing results. Plans are afoot to make guest appearances in the new, ARCA based series.

Second driver Brian Snow struggled with college during the season and was restricted in the vents that he could enter, tentatively entering his first few road course events Brian has made inroads here at R2P.

In other events, Jon took a strong finish at the Road America GP in the champcar series. This was a series that Jon ran competitive times in but never managed to turn this pace into results.

Overall, S7 was a difficult learning period for the team. Committing to it's first ever full campaign saw the team enjoy sweet sucess, humiliating failure, pleasing results and frustrating disappointment.

S8 will bring changes to QMRT's approach, shifting it's focus to tintop road racing in the nGT and GTx competitions and indulging in some WTC action.

With Brian Snow unclear on how often he can compete in the next series new drivers are also being sought for S8.

Got that right Jon, big learning curve, at least for me. Now we got this new sim to learn all over again. With college ending for me in April all focus will be on racing this summer (except for work and the g/f of course...lol).

I need more free time for racing and that is all I want to do. Damn, why can't I get paid to do this?

Nice job Jon in S7, S8 will be better for the both of us.
