yea it does look kool. i set my wheel and screen up like he has his. but i just cant race my best in cockpit view, i feel like im not driving at 110%

Sounds like you have some lag Shane between your wheel and your computer.

Posted by Shane Thompson at 03:13 AM on May 28, 2008 Post #8

No lag, i just dont like looking at all the cockpit prettys. i like to say the screen is my windshield. and like my desk is my dash.

i just cant get comfortable in CP

getting comfortable with the cockpit mode usually comes down to the size of your monitor. I used to use a 19in and could never run the cockpit mode. Then I upped to a 28in monitor with Track IR and is a totally different experience now its like you are now in the car with the expanded space i don't feel like I'm staring through only half my monitor while the bottom half is the virtual dash

I use a 19 lcd. I only use cpv.

Shane, maybe it's beacuse you're looking at the "cockpit prettys" that you can't drive in cpv. :-) When i drive, i don't even see them. ;-)
