Coming off a successful 2nd season, and entering our 3rd season, here are the series keypoints and minor changes: 1) GT/nGT mixed class racing 32 cars max per race 2) The points structure awards the Top 16 drivers in each class, +1 for pole position in each class 3) Changeable weather (we will have changeable weather DURING race session at Jiading) 4) Race length is 93 minutes 5) Race start procedure: Single file manual formation lap to a rolling start *** 6) GT class note: F550 allowed but only Wieth Racing Team F550 (Orange and Yellow colored F550 only, #016 and #022, 606hp) 7) All current R2P policies apply to GTPC ---------------------------------------------------------------- GTPC Car restriction policy: < --- PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND This restriction is based on RACE RESULTS, not point standings Drivers that finish in the Top 3 (podium) in a race may not drive the following cars in the next race they compete in: GT- Ferrari, Saleen, and Lamborghini nGT- Porsche RSR and Ferrari 360GTC To explain the policy in different words: If you finish in the Top 3 (podium) in a race, the restriction is applied to the next race in which you physically take the green flag..... NOT the next race on the schedule, NOT the Top 3 in points. *** If you are forced to drive a handicapped car during a race, finish outside of the Top 3, then you are no longer restricted. *** This policy also applies if you switch classes between races. If you score a Top 3 in GT and switch to nGT for your next race, you are still restricted and vice versa. Example:
A separate thread will be updated after each race to reflect those that have finished in the Top 3 |

Do those restrictions carry over from S7 to the first event of S8? Just in case Johan doesn't get the Escorts finished in time :) |
