Hello there,

I've been messing with sims for quite some years but have never actually raced online before. I thought this collection of events "Intro" was a nice idea to take the jump so I signed up.

I got the password for the upcoming event and started up B&W M3 Challenge, selected "Multiplayer - Internet". The game asked me for a user name and password. I gave in the same name as I have on Race2Play and made up a password for myself. I entered the B&W lobby. However, I couldn't see any servers in the list that might be race2play. Only a few servers apparently run by single users.

I read there is a practice server running 24/7 but couldn't find anything close to it in the lobby.

Where am I going wrong?

Thanks for reading,
Piffles.

The BMW Challenge multiplayer lobby is separate then Race2Play. So you will have to create (I believe they call it Register) a multiplayer username and password though the game.

Then you will able to see the server listings

Yep, done that. Registered in the "Register" tab of the "Multiplayer - Internet" menu. However, when I enter my username and password and login in the "Login" tab of the same menu, I directly enter the "B&W Lobby".

At that point, just find the servers names "Race2Play" and jump in using the placeholder password which you can find in your My R2P page (Event Minders tab)

Well, thanks for clearing that up.

So I am in the right place, but I don't see race2play anywhere in the list. I must have some kind of technical issue. I'll dig a little deeper.

Thanks,
Piffles.
