CT Racing
Pulling out of ROUEN

Posted by Francesco Zargani at 10:37 AM on May 04, 2008 Post #1

sorry guys, as much as I like the Fabcars and love Rouen, I have had no practice for this event and I don't have enough time to prep before 1pm est. Just joined the server and it's not so much the speed that I am worried about but the comfort level-- would hate to ruin John's or Gregg's race by running into them or something. Good luck guys.

Figures, I just joined! Come on back, I'll be on the server in a minute.

Yeah Gregg, sorry about that-- I hear reports about a depressed guy with a CT Racing t-shirt walking aimlessly on the Garden State Parkway.
Fabcars are some of my favourite tin-tops; unfortunately they conflict most of the time with F1 races and when they don't I try to run them. Sadly, because of my travel schedules I did not have enough time to prep and even though I know the track like the back of my hand I was so bad Sunday it would have been a DNF and a major disaster if I had hurt someone who is in the championship and participates in most of the races. Now when are you going to join us in F1, CC, or ARCA!!? :)

Well, I practiced my ass off for that and was running times in the top five consistently, only to CTD when it went into race mode!!!!
So you are correct in saying there was a very depressed guy on the GSP with no shirt on!!!!

Not enough time in my schedule for any additional events, in fact I have been doing less and less. I have not purchased ARCA and probably won't, with all the great mods out there there is really no reason for me to do any Nascrap racing, it was merely a fill in and fun evening of hanging with the guys on TS. I do miss the chat and laughter with you and the boys.

My Monday night race, takes mucho practice to be competitive and its just getting better and better. I am in 4th place in GT1 cars with 3rd being a 3 way tie and 3rd in LMP-2.
I am thinking about going to LRP for Memorial day event and meeting up with some of the CT clan if all permits, are you going?

I was wondering what happened to ya Greg. That sucks, cuz you were right up there. I really enjoyed that track compared to some of the others we've run in Fabcar. I hope its on the schedule again.
