the problem

i have a dead zone and top dead center of the wheel when at speed. there is no ffB feel in this top area, its probally 1 inch of No FFB its really anoying.. how can i fix this??

Here's a tweak for the deadzone problem...

FFB steer force neutral range="0.00000"

FFB steer force grip function="1.00000"

...and here's for the 'strange' behaviour when using other than low FFB setting.

FFB steer damper coefficient="-0.17500" // Coefficient to use for steering damper. Range: -1.0 to 1.0

Note the negative value instead of the default 0.17500.

This should give a more natural FFB with higher FFB force settings.

As always make a backup before changing anything , hope it helps.

Actually it looks like the FFB steer force grip function="1.00000" is prolly not needed , mine was in default setting (0.55000)now when i check it.

Anyways , dunno if these tweaks help but i recall having some annoying deadzone in the wheel earlier so googled some answers and these came up. I don't actually know anything about the FFB settings generally but i think i was happier with these small tweaks than before :P.
