Note before I start this guide, My rFactor may look a little different because I have a menu mod installed. For the pictures that will follow they should look the same has everyone elses but I don't remember how a regular version of rFactor looks.

How to setup the upgrade options

1. First off make sure you have the correct mod loaded. It should say "R2P Formula IS 2008".

If not then click on the arrows in the last picture to select the right mod or click on the button that looks like an arrow pointing to a box and the following will be displayed.

Just click on "R2P Formula IS 2008"

2. Now that the correct mod is loaded, Go into Vehicles. The following screen should be displayed.

From that screen select the car you want (make sure you purchase the car!). For this guide we will be using the NASA #55.

3. Once you have the car you want (and purchased) click on the "Upgrades" tab. Then click the "+" symbol next to "Track Configuration". The following will be displayed.

You have 3 options here:
Road: Of course for Road Courses
Oval-Long: This is for speedways and superspeedways. Any track over 1 mile long.
Oval-Short: This is for short tracks. Any track below 1 mile.

Go ahead and purchase all 3 configurations here. Before a race or practice go back into here and select the configuration you want and click on the "Install" button. (If you don't click the install button it will not load the configuration.

4. Now that you have the correct configuration, It is time to hit the track. When asked what car you want to use make sure you select the car you installed the configuration on (NASA #55 for this guide).

(Note: That screen is from joining a server in Multi player. It should be the same for Single player.)
