I was wondering if there would be race stewards for this series. I know rFactor likes to hand out a bunch of bogus penalties in oval races that can only be cleared by a steward. I hate to see anyone's race ruined by the ridiculous coding ISI created for the ovals.

I have not completely decided what I am going to do yet. I am torn between racing with yall and trying my best to take care of things but at the same time I am thinking about not racing with yall that way I can take care of things and not have to worry about racing. So to answer your question, right now no there is not race stewards for the series but that may change.

Running rF ovals without a live steward is simply impossible, just based on experience. Can we look for someone to volunteer who does not wish to run the series?

Tim has given me some info to make handling rFactor's bogus penalties easier. I am going to play around with that but I could always post a topic and see if we can find someone. If you know of someone tell them to send me a message.

How did the first race go in terms of stewarding and penalties?

Obviously interested as we may look long term at a Shark series.

Well Tim was there for the first race to steward. He said he was going to try and steward for us if he could. My feeling is that when he can not steward for us then I will withdrawal myself from the races and steward. But all went well the first race. No problems that I am aware of except maybe the overheating deal sometimes.

Not to mention me and Conor driving into one another!
