I was curious to know if anyone has used these or any other type of viewing glasses with our sims: as the technology gets better I wonder how effective they are.

I tried them on an LCD screen, despite advice to the contrary. Needless to say, they didn't work well at all. Sent them back. I've heard they're very very cool on a CRT screen though.

I had a pair (still have) when they first came out and they were quite good.

Like Pete says there good on a CRT, however I believe you can get them for LCD screens now. The only turn off for me was the fact I wear glasses and they are extremely uncomfortable.

The Vuzix VR920 Headmount display looks interesting. I am looking for a large screen LCD monitor, but maybe this headmount thing might do it.
