Ok, to confirm exactly what has been decided this is the details of what we have set up, subject to confirmation from Tim.

Event details:-
First event, Practice 7.45pm Qual 8.15pm (10 minutes) Race 8.30pm (25 minute race)
Second Event Practice 9.00pm Qual 9.30pm (10 minutes) Race 9.45pm (40 minute race)

First race night will be Tuesday 8th July, giving us a week break after the final FBMW race of this season.

We will start with the Touring cars night on 8th July, first event BMW 320 E21's followed by main event of Enduro Meganes with 1x fuel multiplier (change from the present x2)

Fortnightly from 8th July the tracks will be:-

8th July - Nuerburg Sprint
22nd July - Brianza GP
5th August - Silverstone International
19th August - Mid-Ohio (No Chicane)
2nd September - Lime Rock Park ( No Chicane)
16th September - Montreal

Tuesday 15th July will start with the F BMW sprint race, followed by the F3 main event, the tracks fortnightly being:-

15th July - Brands Hatch GP
29th July - Vanport with Festival turns
12th August - OLDRing - International Junior layout.
26th August - Rouen-Les-Essarts '94
9th September - Wanneroo
23rd September - Istanbul Park

Points payout has increased! For all events will be for the top thirteen finishers in the following order :- 15,13,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 plus 1 point for pole.

Normal R2P rules will apply as have been done to date.

We are really excited with this line up, and hope that we do get as good a turn out for all events as we have had to date.

No one is expected or required to run all four series if they do not want to, and obviously we realise this is holiday season so maybe will be difficult to make every night. But the more the merrier and we anticipate more great racing and entertainment with this line up.

The Shark events run on European evenings Doug, not USA evenings as your Chapter does.

Our current events Jonty run at the same time we have planned the second event here.

So the actual is that the first race being run starts earlier than we presently do, but the second event, and therefore the Megane and F3 series on alternate weeks start at the same time as the present Shark events.

Doug, I guess you are running F3 as well? as Tim says we are Euro, and you are USA so there should be no conflict I hope :-]

Love the mods, times are more suitable, but one reason i mainly use this series was that it seemed to use a nice variety of tracks, now it seems to be back to the usual R2P ways using all the standard tracks and few others as possible. There is over 200 tracks in rfactor, and we seem to get stuck with the same 15-20 season after season.

Fair comment Sam but on looking back none of the tracks for Season 9 have been used more than once before in Shark events.

I certainly agree there are loads to choose from, and hopefully once people have bedded in with the new mods we can vary it a bit more, but we have been a bit more conservative this time round.

Saying that Oldring and Istanbul are new tracks!

Just to confirm my post in the recent Megane post-race thread... for the remainder of the Megane season, the damage multiplier will be set at 75% instead of 100%.

Hopefully this will reduce the number of cars that get seriously damaged from the gentlest of kisses.
