Can you do 600km races in GTR2? I thought 500km was the limit? |

Good question Scott. The races will be a set number of laps, as opposed to a time limit. This is because the track's .gdb file is written for 3 hours. You can still run an infinite amount of laps as long as it is lap-based. Also I want to simulate the Le Mans Series. LMS runs a set number of laps/distance (1000km)... I think. :) |

I beleive GTR2 has both a time and lap limit, so you could set it to 3 hours but (in these cars) the race would still end at 500km. For the record, LMS has both a time and lap limit (1000km or 6 hours, usually they do the 1000km if there are no long safety car periods or rain). |

*EDIT* Stuff what i just said, i just read the readme that i need to change setup, i just got in and drove lol! And i can always just turn wheel off and use hud :) Sorry for my stupidity lol. |

Yes Richie, the default setup is garbage. But then that's part of the fun. Starting from scratch and figuring out these cars. :) Forgot to add, the tear wear will be 2X. The normal wear is too slow. Through testing, 2X is an acceptable, realistic rate proportional to fuel burn. |

lol i allmost bought Grid Race driver, like 30 minutes ago at best buy. come home to find this! ULTRA much better GRID is FAIl and thats why i didnt buy it yO |

You can set a lap-only limit in dedi, and that works... but I just discovered you can also set longer times than 3 hours in dedi, and it seems to work. 360 minutes shows 6:00 in game and 174 laps for Monza - double of the normal lap count so it's correct. I haven't tested if the race ends correctly when either limit is reached. |
