I loved the Vorra buggies, but events turnouts were rather low, split the field into 2 classes and you'd sometimes be guaranteed a podium position without even running a lap. The only way I can see of to get them back would be to run them under an independent chapter, which would be cool to see. Maybe with just one event each week instead of two, and just one class, there may be enough interested to have some fun. Theres a newer updated version of the buggies available that we never did make the switch to, maybe if its an improvment you may convince a few more to race. Good luck. |

I think the buggies mod is better than ORR, it's more realistic, the ORR mod is very good anyway. I think the 2 classes doesn't make sense, both cars are similar and can compete each other. I also hope we can race buggies at R2P again. |

I would run the same number of laps as ORR since the laptimes aren't that far off. And it would probably make things interesting to throw a caution about 1/2 way thru the race to make things interesting. I would love to have seen the last two races go differently. DM ran me down but I didnt want to give him a chance at a pass... had a caution come out, I'd be left with a huge decision: If I DO take tires, he can stay out and take the lead, but I MIGHT be able to keep up with fresh rubber. And if I DONT take tires, he can grab some and charge even harder for a pass. I think many other drivers would be in the same boat - the choice to stay out for track position or come in and get an advantage to help make a pass. One thing's for certain - laptimes fall way off as tires wear down, so the second part of a race would get mighty interesting with that 1 variable thrown in there. |

Longer races would be cool with me, but I don't like the idea of the yellows too much. I had a lap up on the entire field at the indy 500 here through great draft partners and smart strategy only to loose it all due to a couple horribly timed cautions, including one right before the white before I could slingshot back in front. Yellows suck. It's why I avoid Nascar.
