After countless hours of trying VLM version of Mid Ohio does not unpack and is there a rar file where I can download from?

I downloaded the version from R2P 3 times and deleted the old file.

I run the download of the track and it shows unpacking and then it just quits 3/4 of the job.

You did point it at your rFactor root folder?

I am not suppose to with the exe version of the download. I search at rFactor Central and a few other sites for a rar file and all links have errors to download the track.

Anyways, time is running out and I am getting fedup with this track.

Like I said.. I run the download of the track and it shows unpacking and then it just quits when 3/4 of the job is unpacked.

I still was looking for another download and I just tried about 10 of them and all have errors downloading or file has been removed.

I have rar'ed and uploaded the track to

This unpacks fine and will leave you with the exe

Hope this is what you want

(confused) It did the same thing Grant.

So I downloaded another track just to make sure it wasn't my end of the problem. I downloaded Lime Rock and it installed perfectly. There is something about that Mid Ohio exe that isn't working for me.

The installer program used by VLM is often not allowed by antivirus programs and firewalls. Disable them temporarily and run the exe as administrator.

Doug,

Most likely as Tim says you have a piece of software that is stopping this installing (you just need to find out what)

Alternatively i have upped it again this time i have just archived the gamedata folder so you should have no problem with this.

Hope this helps
