I am still undecided on what we will be doing for season 9. I know we will not be doing an IRL series in season 9. I was thinking of doing maybe street stocks or a dirt mod. So is there any interest in street stocks or a dirt mod? If not then I will not worry about it and just not do anything for season 9. If there is an interest then I need to start some testing and maybe some feedback. |

As for street stock I was referring to something you would find at your local short track on any saturday night in the US. As for dirt racing I was thinking something like the modifieds or sprint cars. Or even thought about doing the street stocks and running on asphalt and dirt. Oh guess I should have mention this will be on ovals. |

I like the idea of the street stock thing. It might take some effort & a couple server resets, but you could even do qualifying heat races and that sort of thing, or maybe just double features since street stock races are usually 50 laps or less with no pit stops. I'd probably try the dirt thing too, but it might be so different than the usual R2P offering it could be tough to draw a crowd. I'd be more excited about pavement than dirt. |

I was thinking of doing short races and maybe even 2 races a night and inverting the field after the first race. No cautions, no penalties just good old side by side racing. |

Street Stocks Shootout, two-heat, inverted field second race, on the shortest tracks available for rFactor sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe do seven paved tracks and three dirt in a 10 race series? In a decent time slot(same as AAR IRL), I think you'd be surprised at the number of entries. |

Not really sure that I would that many races at first. Besides the IRL series ends after season 9 starts and I would rather have the next season we do fit into season 9 without any overlap like this season. Not that it really has to but would be nicer if it did. |

I wasn't suggesting the series length, just the pavement-to-dirt ratio. I just think a couple of dirt races would add some interest. |

Yeah I was planning on doing a little less dirt tracks than paved tracks. |
