http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/68828 The British GP will be held at donnington from 2010. No doubt there is some political decision behind it when Bernie's involved, but how the hell can Donnington be better than Silverstone? I can't see much overtaking being done at Donni in F1 cars unless Donningtons proposed upgrade is going to completely change the layout. I cant see how, since the footprint of the whole Donnington site is relatively small compared to Silverstones. |

Perhaps they'll invade East Midlands Airport and pinch some of the runway? In fairness, the infrastructure at Donnington is slightly better being as it is right next to an airport. |

It rained at the 1993 race at donni, and Senna drove one of his best races though. His first lap was awesome. The infrastructure around donni is terrible, ok the M1 is close by but i've been to a lot smaller events at donni than an f1 race and the traffic has been a joke. |
